With 1 in 88 children being diagnosed with autism in our country, it is imperative that our medical professionals have proper training in identifying the early warning signs of this disorder.  Therefore, I have developed a checklist of signs and symptoms to look for when determining if a child between the ages of 12 and 36 months requires a formal developmental evaluation.
