The Breakthrough
for Brain Tumors Tampa 5K Run & Walk is a signature fundraising event of
the American Brain Tumor Association
(ABTA). This second year event expects to draw hundreds of
families and friends who have been impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis. Money
raised goes to funding brain tumor research as well as providing comprehensive
resources that support brain tumor patients and their families. The morning
will start with a chip-timed run, followed by an all-ages walk. Refreshments,
music and family-friendly entertainment will follow.
Registration for
the Breakthrough for Brain Tumors Tampa 5K Run & Walk is now open at www.bt5k.org. The registration fee is $35 for adults and
$20 for children 6-12 years old. Children under 6 may participate for free. For
