The Northwest Hillsborough Family YMCA offers an exciting sports camp during the winter holidays for kids age 5-to-14 with an interest in basketball. Led by David Zimroth, former college basketball coach, DZ Sports Basketball Skills Camp will teach kids the fundamentals of the game, as well as a variety of techniques such as passing, shooting and dribbling. In addition, the camp provides daily teamwork exercises to help your child become a better athlete.
The camp will run Dec. 27-29 at the following times; 8:30am- 10:30am for kids age 5-8 and 11am-1pm for ages 9-14. Admission is $60 for YMCA members, $75 for members, and $90 for newcomers. The Northwest Hillsborough Family YMCA is located just minutes away from the Westchase .
