Flight Delays at TIA as Rain Pours Down

A number of incoming and outgoing flights have been delayed Monday.

Travelers hoping to fly in or out of Tampa International Airport Monday may want to check on the status of their flights.

The airport’s website is showing a number of flight delays both on departing and arriving flights.

The airport has not confirmed a possible grounding at this point, but is urging travelers to check on the status of flights before heading out.

Most of the Tampa Bay region is under a flood watch until 4 p.m. with some counties also under a flood warning until 11:15 a.m. Monday.
