Free Tech Training Camp for Pinellas Seniors
Senior Tech Training Class: Free class for any Tampa Bay senior citizen that has questions about their smartphone, tablet or laptop.
For some in Pinellas County, their most trusted tech consultant may be a child or grandchild who doesn’t live nearby.
Pinellas County seniors will have the opportunity to get immediate answers to their tech questions during a Senior Tech Training Camp from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on June 18. The workshop will be held at the Sunshine Senior Center, 330 5th Street N, St. Petersburg.
The free program is open to any adult over age 50 who wants to learn more about their smartphone, tablet or laptop. The session’s “trainers” will be Tampa Bay area high school students.
The training session is being organized through a collaboration between AT&T, the Sunshine Senior Center and the Poynter Institute.
Light refreshments and drinks will be served, and raffle prizes will be awarded to participants.
