Get A Free Facial at Pia's Tomorrow and Help Some Women In Need
Pia's Day Spa is taking part in FITE, a program that provides loans for women in developing nations.

Pia's Esthetics Day Spa, one of Westchase's favorite spas, will be doing free mini-facials and exfoliation treatments on Wednesday, March 30 in the name of a good cause.
The beauty event is to benefit Dermalogica's FITE program. The skin care line launched the Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship program in the United States and 50 other international markets in January.
The FITE program aims to help women gain financial power through business ownership. The international program is powered by Kiva.org, a non-profit organization that coordinates micro-loans for women in need.

Spa owner Pia Trujillo says FITE's goal is to raise $25,000 over the next two years for the women. Trujillo says she plans to participate for both years of the FITE program to help them reach their goal.
"It helps women around women around the world to achieve their dreams," Trujillo said. "As a woman business owner, you can't make your dream come true if you don't have a helping hand."

On Wednesday, Pia's, located at 10116 Montague St., will offer complimentary mini-facials and hand and back exfoliation, using FITE Dermologica products. They will also give complimentary chair massages using a new technique called Bamboo massage. The free services will be offered 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Those who receive the complimentary services are asked to purchase one or more FITE Dermologica products to help raise money. Each product comes with a code that the purchaser redeems online to make a $1 donation to the program. After redeeming the product code, buyers can also choose to add an additional donation electronically.
"It's like a little way to participate since you are already buying something because it is good for your skin," Trujillo said. " And you can help at the same time."
