GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT TWO LOCAL CHARITIES ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3

Fore the Kids Golf Tournament will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Tampa, Fla. – October 28, 2014 – For the third year in a row, golfers and golf enthusiasts are invited to play in the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation Fore the Kids Golf Classic benefiting the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and One World, One Child.

The four-person team scramble tournament will be held Monday, November 3rd at the Westchase Golf Club. Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony honoring the top three teams as well as closest to the pin and longest drive.

13-year-old cancer survivor, Demetrios Kotsovolos will be among the competitors on Monday. Demetri battled leukemia for three years, relapsed and then battled for another 3 years. He took up golf when he was barely a year old and has been playing ever since.
