Heavy Flooding Reported in Westchase

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is warning motorists to steer clear of a portion of Westchase as heavy flooding is making driving conditions unsafe.

Roads included in the warning are Race Track Road and McCormick Drive, according to an email from the sheriff’s office.

A stalled front has dumped rain on the Westchase area for days, causing the National Weather Service to issue a flood a flood watch.
