Local preschoolers help raise $1,100 to support foster children in need

The Learning Experience® (TLE®), the nation’s fastest growing early learning academy, in Oldsmar, FL, recently hosted its Big Bubbles Block Party and fundraising event which allowed preschoolers, staff, families and friends of the center to raise $1,100 for the Heart Gallery of Pasco and Pinellas. The funds will be used to assist in finding foster children permanent homes and families through adoption.

Members of the community participated in the cause while enjoying a day of fun and child-friendly activities including a bounce house, silent auction, games, arts & crafts, music, dancing and food.

Children at TLE® are no strangers to philanthropic deeds, as the event was part of the academy’s first-in-the-nation philanthropy curriculum at the preschool level. TLE® students are taught how philanthropy’s core tenets of selflessness, generosity and giving can be applied to their classroom, home life, and community for years to come, and participate each month in philanthropic activities such as hosting the block party event to benefit children in need.
