Lockdown At Farnell Middle Prompted By Search
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say they are looking for a 16-year-old runaway from Orlando in the area of Rack Track Road.

TAMPA, FL — The search for a runaway from Orlando has prompted a modified lockdown on the Farnell Middle School campus Friday morning and increased monitoring at nearby Bryant Elementary School.
According to the sheriff’s office, a search is under way in the area of Rack Track Road and Nine Eagles Drive for a teen who ran away from his Orlando home about 10 days ago and was brought to Hillsborough County. The boy’s girlfriend, an email from the sheriff’s office said, attends Farnell.
“Preliminary information was that a suspicious person was seen in the area of Farnell Middle School and as a precaution the school was placed on modified lockdown,” the email said. “Due to the close proximity of Farnell to Bryant Elementary, the elementary school is monitoring everyone that enters the school campus.”
