Man Hospitalized Following Stabbing

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say two homeless men got into an argument off Sheldon Road Aug. 10 that ended with one stabbing the other.

An argument between two homeless men turned violent Saturday night when one stabbed the other.

The incident unfolded around 8:39 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Latino Mart, 5425 Sheldon Road, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter. After ending the argument by stabbing his opponent, the man wanted in the case went to a nearby 7-Eleven, where deputies later caught up with him.

The victim went to a nearby Burger King for help. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital for treatment.
