More Apartments Coming to Westchase

The mixed-use development will include almost 240 rental units.

It won’t be long before would-be Westchase residents have a new rental option available to them.

The Altman Companies has announced its attention to build a mixed-use community consisting of 239 apartments and 5,000 square feet of retail space, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

The project will be called Altis at Highland Park. The company hopes to close on the property sometime in April, the Journal reports.

Altis at Highland Park isn’t the only new apartment complex in the area. Camden Countryway Apartments opened last year and construction also began over the summer on the Branch apartments.

Altman is also building Altis at Grand Cypress in New Tampa.
