A 22-year-old Town ‘N Country man died today following an early morning motorcycle crash on Crawley Road in Odessa.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas James Nott of 6624 Marina Pointe Village Court was driving his 2006 Yamaha southbound on Crawley around 2:15 a.m. today, March 4, when he lost control on a curve. The motorcycle slid out from under Nott and hit a tree. Nott was thrown into a culvert. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is being conducted to determine if drugs or alcohol might have played a role in the crash, a sheriff’s office media release states. Nott was wearing a helmet and eye protection.
