During the first round of the NHL playoffs, Tampa Bay hockey fans used an average of 206GB per game. That's equal to 589,000 hockey selfies.
Data rose on the rink for the first round of the pro hockey playoffs as fans used AT&T’s mobile network to share the most exciting moments on and off the ice via their mobile devices.

- Overall, more than 8.6TB of data was used across all of the arenas hosting playoff games. 8.6TB is equal to more than 24.6M hockey selfies.
- The average data usage per game during the first round was 191 GB. This marks a41% increase in data traffic compared to the average regular season game at the same arenas.
- The highest mobile data usage was in Dallas, where fans used more than 379GB per game in the first round. 379GB is equivalent to more than 1 million victory selfies.
