“We decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt because we thought it would be something my sister and I could run ourselves, one that my mom wouldn’t eventually have to take over,” Alexandra said. “We want to raise as much money as we can for the American Cancer Society.”
The teens that live in the Greens in Westchase are also getting help from their 15 member Relay for Life Team, A-Team Plus.

“We don't have a sponsor,” Alexandra said. “We wish we did, but we are paying all of the money to pay for the event out of our own pockets.”
The egg hunt begins at 10am and ends at 1p.m.
Children, ages 12 and under, should bring their own Easter baskets.
Admission is a suggested donation of $10, which benefits the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.
“The eggs are filled with small trinkets and candy,” Alexandra said.
Other activities include a water balloon toss, arts and crafts, and small carnival activities.
“My friend is a talented artist, so she’s doing bunny face painting,” Alexandra said. “We advertised in World of Westchase, flyers going home from school and asked some businesses to hang our flyers. We are hoping for a good turnout.”
