
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is investigating a Tuesday morning fire the broke out at a Tampa condo complex.
According to the agency, crews responded to 7417 Palmera Pointe Circle, units 101 and 201, after reports came in about a blaze. When they arrived, they found the bottom-floor apartment filled with smoke. The fire was traced to the void space between the first and second floors of the building.
Crews were able to quickly attack the blaze with no injuries to people reported. Firefighters did, however, rescue a dog trapped in the upstairs apartment, the agency noted in an email to media.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
It is unclear how many residents were displaced or how extensive the damage is.
