Santa Spreads Message About Dangers of Distracted Driving
Santa made a visit to the South Tampa AT&T store asking visitors to not drive distracted during the holidays.
Santa made an early visit to Tampa on Dec. 3 to host an “It Can Wait” pledge drive at the South Tampa AT&T store.
Santa talked to visitors about how he avoids becoming distracted by his smartphone while guiding his sleigh on Christmas Eve and asked drivers to pledge to not drive distracted during the holidays. Kids and families also got to take Selfies with Santa in the store.
AT&T’s It Can Wait campaign asks drivers to keep their eyes on the road, not on their smartphones. Nearly 13 million pledges have been made to never drive distracted since 2010, when AT&T launched the It Can Wait campaign. But we want to do even better -- AT&T has set a goal of reaching 16 million pledges in 2016

- One-third asked a driver to not use their smartphone while driving when riding as a passenger.
