School Bus Crashes Into Lake

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a school bus crash that occurred in the area of Kings Mills Place and Nine Eagle Drive Thursday afternoon. The bus ended up in the lake.

The bus was carrying students from Mary E. Bryant Elementary School, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media. All students and the driver have been accounted for, the sheriff’s office said.

No serious injuries have been reported. Three deputies reportedly dove into the lake to help pull the children to safety.
