Sheriff Seeking Man Who Swiped $7,.200 Gold Necklace

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking help to identify a man who stole a $7,200 necklace from a jewelry store on Dec. 27.

TOWN N' COUNTRY, FL -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking help to identify a man who stole a $7,200 necklace from a jewelry store on Dec. 27.

According to the sheriff's office, the man entered Safa's Jewelry and Gifts at 8492 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Town n' Country just after noon on Dec. 27 and asked to see a Cuban-style gold necklace. When the clerk produced it, he snatched it out of the clerk's hands and fled.

He is described as black, 6 feet 4 inches tall, medium build, wearing a black Nike hoodie, black pants and glasses.
