Shoplifters Swiped a Party to Go, Deputies Say

The four are accused of taking nearly $400 in liquor from a store.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying four people it says are responsible for swiping about $370 in booze from a BJ’s wholesale club recently.

According to the agency, three women and a man walked into the 7651 W. Waters Ave. store around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and helped themselves to a selection of liquors. The four hid the bottles inside large purse-type bags, the agency noted in an email, and walked outside without paying.

Anyone who recognizes the people in the surveillance photos is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-8477 or by going online to www.crimestopperstb.com.
