Shots Fired in Deputies' Direction
A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious shooting that involved two of its deputies early Monday morning.
According to the agency, two deputies were inside their cruisers in the parking lot of 4034 W. Waters Ave. around 1:30 a.m. when someone fired three to four rounds in their direction. Two of the shots struck a nearby wall.
While the deputies were not injured, the sheriff’s office would like to speak to the person or people responsible.

To that end, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay has stepped forward to offer a $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of those involved. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
