Thieves Jump Store Counter, Steal 87 Cartons Of Cigarettes

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for thieves who stole nearly 90 cartons of cigarettes from a convenience store.

TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is searching for thieves who stole nearly 90 cartons of cigarettes from a convenience store overnight.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, three men entered the 7-Eleven at 8305 Hillsborough Ave. W, Tampa, jumped the counter and grabbed 87 cartons of cigarettes from the shelves. They then fled on foot north on Webb Road.

The thieves are 18-21 years old, black with thin builds. One was shirtless, wearing blue shorts under blue jeans. Another wore a green camouflage-colored hat, a red polo shirt and dark-colored shorts. The third wore a blue hat, a white or gray T-shirt and dark-colored shorts.
