Trade in an old cell phone, help a soldier this July 4

AT&T offers an easy way to help the military – and responsibly dispose of unused phones or tablets.

Any wireless customer – regardless of carrier – can bring in a gently used cell phone or tablet to a local AT&T-owned store and have the value of the qualified device donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers (CPFS). CPFS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing deployed and returning troops with cost-free methods to communicate with family while serving in the United States military.

 Trading in an old device is easy:

1. Wipe the personal data from the device, following the steps at www.att.com/ecospace and restore the device to factory settings. 

2. Bring in old devices in to any AT&T-owned store.  We’ll calculate the trade-in value based on make, model and condition.

3. Choose to donate to AT&T’s supported Cell Phones for Soldiers organization.

We’ll send in the old devices to be reused or recycled.
