Verizon Sponsors Quinceañera Giveaway Contest

Know a fabulous girl who deserves a Quinceañera party of a lifetime?

Well Verizon wants to make it happen.

Between now and Aug. 31, Verizon is holding its "My Fabulous Quince" contest. The goal is to provide area Latino girls with the opportunity to win an all expense paid party and a $5,000 college scholarship.

The party would include:

• Up to 200 guests
• A fabulous dress for the event and use of a limousine.
• A cake and flowers.
• A live performance by one of Latin music’s hottest new artists, Prince Royce.

The contest is open to participants whose fifteenth birthday falls between 1/01/11 and 12/31/11 and are legal U.S. residents of the following counties: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Sarasota and Manatee.  

To be considered, girls must answer questions at http://www.myfabulousquince.com/ and follow other entry guidelines. The winner will be announced in early September.

“We are very excited to offer this great opportunity to Latino girls coming of age in our community,” said Jeanmarie Milla, Verizon’s Florida region president for operations. “Quince is one of the most important times in a Latino woman’s life. With this, not only will a lucky young woman and her family have a very memorable evening, she will also receive a scholarship to help with her continuing education.”

Notable Tampa Bay vendors are being used for the winner's party, including Emelina’s Alterations & Creations, L’Artisan Cake Atelier, Sharp Hair Design and Life Long Studios, all of Tampa.
