Westchase Family Field Day January 17, 2015

On Saturday, January 17th, Irish 31 Pub House & Eatery, along with Orangetheory Fitness

Westchase and the DeBartolo Family Foundation, will present the inaugural Westchase Family Field Day

at the Westchase Recreation Center. The family-friendly event will include competition in eight fun-filled

events such as relay races, obstacle courses, and other games. Teams will include

anywhere from six to 10 members ranging in age. The event will also include a DJ, bounce house, a Tot

Zone with child care for kids under 8 years old, and multiple 42” LCD screens that will track the

competitions and team results.

Tampa Bay Club Sport will manage the game portion of the event, and registration is

now open at www.westchasefamilyfieldday.org. Registration will be limited to 50 teams with a

$300 registration fee per team, (or $30 registration fee per person), which includes the games, lunch from

Irish 31, and a beer ticket for registrants age 21 and up to be used at the official after party at Irish 31.

The after party will include raffles for Irish 31 gift cards, Orangetheory memberships, sports

memorabilia, and other items. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Toby Hall

Foundation and Friends of the County Parks. Founded by the former Tampa Bay Rays

catcher, the Toby Hall Foundation provides financial assistance to families with disabled

and special needs children to play in a non-competitive baseball atmosphere around

the Tampa Bay area. Friends of the County Parks works to promote financial and

community support for the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation

Department.
