• School bus loading children struck by tractor-trailer on US-301 in Pasco County: FHP (fox13news.com) — Two Zephyrhills residents suffered minor injuries when their Hyundai was struck in a chain-reaction crash involving a Pasco County school bus loading children on US-301 near Desrosier Road. The Florida Highway Patrol says a tractor-trailer driver swerved after failing to see the stopped bus, hitting both the car and bus and sending multiple passengers, including a Zephyrhills woman, to the hospital.
• Winn-Dixie Plans Comeback in Zephyrhills (whatnow.com) — A new Winn-Dixie is slated to open in Zephyrhills' Westgate Shopping Center, returning the grocer to a site it occupied in the 1980s and 1990s. The company has confirmed plans for a Zephyrhills store, though the exact location and opening date are still pending, signaling more grocery options and renewed investment on the city's west side.
