ACWORTH, GA — Authorities say they are investigating a suspected armed robbery that took place Monday morning in Acworth.
A male of an unknown age entered a gas station around 3:30 a.m. in the 130 block of Northpoint Parkway and demanded money and lottery tickets, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said.
At the time, authorities said the male wore a hoodie, mask and gloves. He brandished a gun and was able to flee the scene by foot, authorities said.
A store clerk was not injured during the incident, authorities said.
