• Milwaukee woman stabbed by daughter; shares warning for other parents (fox6now.com) — A Milwaukee mother was stabbed 12 times by her adult daughter in an Acworth Chick-fil-A parking lot, where an Acworth police officer's quick use of a tourniquet helped save her life. The victim, treated at Wellstar Kennestone, has since regained custody of her young son while her daughter faces aggravated assault and child cruelty charges in Georgia.
   

• 8 BUI arrests reported in Georgia over Labor Day weekend (fox5atlanta.com) — Boaters from the Acworth region saw two boating under the influence arrests during the first two days of Labor Day weekend, part of eight BUI arrests statewide. Lake Allatoona, near Acworth, accounted for two of those arrests, while Lake Lanier saw five arrests and two non‑injury incidents as game wardens stepped up patrols.
