A fitness gym will soon be debuting in Georgia with three new locations set to open in 2027, including one that will fill a vacant Big Lot's in Austell, the company recently announced.
EōS Fitness on Wednesday revealed plans to open at 5055 Austell Road, Ste. 171, in Austell. With a newly-signed long-term lease, EōS will fill 42,000 square feet of space.
"EōS will serve as an anchor tenant in the revitalized Austell Plaza, replacing the former Big Lots," the company said in an email to Patch.
Aside from Austell, EōS Fitness will additionally open at 700 McFarland Pkwy. in Alpharetta and at 2880 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.
In addition to cardio and strength equipment, EōS Fitness offers group fitness classes and personal training.
Memberships start at $9.99 per month, according to representatives.
The company first announced its intention to expand into Georgia in November 2024. At the time, EōS Fitness said it planned to open 50 new Georgia locations in 10 years.
“Atlanta is the third-fastest growing metropolitan area in the US, and venturing here represents a key milestone in our long-term vision for EōS,” Rich Drengberg, CEO of EōS Fitness, said in a news release published on Nov. 25, 2024.
“Building on our dynamic reach across the West and Southwest, we are making bold strides in the East with more gyms in Florida and new locations coming soon to Georgia. Our continued progress underscores our dedication to making fitness accessible to more and more people as we revolutionize the standards for fitness and wellness.”
Currently, EōS Fitness has 200 locations that are either open or are coming soon across the U.S.
