Carrington Academy on Majors Road Holds Earth Day Celebration
Pre-K students planted vegetables in recycled sensory tables, and learned about recycling and making healthy food choices for Earth Day
On April 20, Pre-K students at Carrington Academy on Majors Road in Cumming held an Earth Day celebration as part of their Week of the Young Child activities. Students planted tomatoes and zucchini in recycled sensory tables that were converted into gardens and learned about recycling practices and making healthy food choices. Carrington Academy teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
