The roster of nearly every NFL team features a former Georgia Bulldog, with 63 ex-Dawgs getting picked up for the 2026 season.
Teams on Wednesday finalized their 53-man practice squads and rosters. The Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons selected a great number of former Bulldogs to join their teams.
"Aside from on-the-field success, Georgia continues to set the standard in NFL talent production, with 70 players drafted since 2020, which leads all of college football in that span," UGA sports communications writer Kyle Tatelbaum reported Wednesday. "Most recently, Georgia had eight players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, which was fourth amongst all college football programs, tied with Indiana and Penn State."
The 2026 NFL regular season will kick off on Sept. 9 with a matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
The Falcons' first regular season game will be away against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 13. Local fans will be able catch the action at home on Sept. 20, when the Falcons take on the Carolina Panthers at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
