(thestate.com) β Athens residents will need to turn clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, when Georgia returns to Eastern Standard Time and everyone gets an extra hour of sleep. The article also explains a pending federal bill that could eventually make daylight saving time permanent, but for now, Athens should prepare for one more "fall back" this year.

Kirby Smart praised the atmosphere and his team's conditioning, highlighted Gunner Stockton's strong performance, and noted areas for improvement on defense and in the run game as Georgia looks ahead to Alabama.
