TUSCALOOSA, AL — President Donald Trump plans to attend the upcoming matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to a media report.
The president, who recently revealed his intentions during a speech at the University of South Alabama, announced his support of Alabama football, Reuters reported.
The bout between the Dawgs and the Tide will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
"They say it's gonna be a good game," Trump reportedly said. "I would think so. Let's see, one is rated No. 2 (Georgia), and one is rated No. 7 (Alabama), but that doesn't matter too much at this stage."
Specifics on Trump's attendance were not immediately known.
The last time the Bulldogs faced the Tide, the home team defeated Alabama in the 2025 SEC Championship Game. Georgia has not battled the Tide on their home field since 2024.
