Georgia's 21st Annual Rivers Alive event is just around the bend!

Register to volunteer for one of the biggest county-wide clean ups: September 24th!

Our rivers and streams provide us with fresh drinking water, important wildlife habitat, and recreational opportunities. Help preserve our precious rivers and streams at this year’s Rivers Alive volunteer cleanup event!

This year our cleanup event in Athens will be on Saturday, September 24 from 8:00 AM to Noon. Volunteer check-in is at Dudley Park on the corner of MLK PKWY and E. Broad Street. Volunteer Check-in starts at 8:00 AM.

  • Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle and gloves, and wear long pants and closed toed shoes.
  • Breakfast and entertainment will be provided as we gather for the cleanup. We hope to see you there!

We are the solution to water pollution!
