"I Have a Dream" at the Morton Theatre

Dr. King's dream comes to life in this wonderful stage play just in time for Black History Month

I Have a Dream
Times: 9:30 am & 11:30 am
Admission: $10 each, $7.50 each for groups of 15 or more, 1 adult free with every 15 students

The phenomenal impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is chronicled in this compelling dramatization of the life and times of one of the most influential and charismatic leaders of the β€œAmerican Century.” Dr. King becomes the prime mover behind the Montgomery, Alabama bus boycott, putting his philosophy of nonviolent protest to work. Your students will be inspired by the story of this great leader’s struggle and his dream of lifting β€œour nation from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.” (Grades 3 - 12) Biography, Language Arts, History, Multi-Cultural, Public Speaking, Reading, Self-Esteem, Character Development. Each performance lasts approximately one hour.

Tickets to β€œI Have a Dream” are available online at www.mortontheatre.com as well as the Morton Theatre Box Office by phone and in person on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and again from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
