MOVE Conference to bring nearly 7,000 teens to The Classic Center in downtown Athens

ATHENS, Ga. β Nearly 7,000 Georgia teens will converge at The Classic Center in downtown Athens Jan. 2-3 for the 2015 MOVE Conference.
The conference, sponsored by the Youth Ministries Office of the Georgia Baptist Convention, is the largest winter evangelism conference for teenagers in the state. The Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau estimates the economic impact of the conference will be $1.5 million in direct spending.
βWe are so excited to be bringing MOVE Conference to The Classic Center in Athens as we celebrate our 37th year of this event,β said Brian Bone of the Georgia Baptist Convention. βWe will be welcoming over 7,000 students and leaders from across the nation (and even Canada) for MOVE 2015, all gathering to lift up the name of Jesus and enjoy two days of special music.β

Conference attendees will attend various sessions which aim to captivate the students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, Grammy-award winning hip hop phenomenon Lecrae will be performing alongside Ed Newton, Clayton King, Kari Jobe, Rend Collective and more.
The MOVE Conference is the largest conference hosted by The Classic Center to date.
