Several local instructors focus on Middle Eastern Dance.
On Mondays, Rajni teaches Basic Egyptian Style and Tribal Odyssey Group Improvisation at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 780 Timothy Road in Athens. Class begins at 8:00 and costs $40/month if pre-paid, or $12 per class for drop-ins. All ages and levels welcome!
Local Middle Eastern Drummers meets for Open Drum Circle at 7PM on Mondays, also at the UUFA on Timothy Road. This is free, but we do ask for a donation of a dollar or two to support the space. All levels are welcome; some loaner drums available. email rajniqamar@gmail.com
