Woman Punched by Fellow Christmas Partier

An Athens was punched and knocked unconcious after leaving a Christmas party on Tuesday at about 10 p.m, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police press release.
The woman told police that after leaving the gathering, someone began following her. She said the last thing she remembered is the man approaching her outside where she lived. When she woke up, she was inside with a swollen eye.Â
The investigation is ongoing.Â
