The Columbus resident outpaced fellow players Patrick Reed, Sepp Straka, Harris English and Brian Harman - all with ties to Georgia.

"I hit it amazing today. I gave myself a bunch of looks," Henley said in a Reuters report. "Unfortunately, I didn't capitalize on those looks on the back like I would have liked to. Really thankful for a good finish. Wish I would have made some more putts and got a little closer to the lead, but overall very thankful."

Ultimately, Henley fell to green-jacket winner and 1st place finisher Rory McIlroy and second-place victor Scottie Scheffler.

Reed, who graduated from Augusta University, finished 12th overall while former UGA alum English tied for 30th place.

Straka, also a UGA alum, tied for 41st place while Savannah native Harman tied for 33rd. Harman is also a UGA graduate.
