ATLANTA, GA — Police on Tuesday released body camera footage in connection with the rescue of two young sisters they say were taken by their babysitter in Georgia.
Atlanta Police released the brief footage online and added suspect Lakesha Brown, of Alabama, is facing kidnapping charges in connection with the disappearance of 11-month-old Norah Cooper and 4-year-old Zola Cooper.
The two girls disappeared around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of James P. Brawley Street Northwest, Atlanta Police said.
Their mother trusted Brown to babysit her children while she was away at dinner, police said.
Officers found the Cooper sisters in a trailer Monday in the 2000 block of Sylvan Road after receiving a tip. Police said when they arrived, officers heard a crying baby in a trailer.
The estimated 2-minute body camera footage appears to show officers responding to a white trailer next to a SUV.
Officers can then be seen using bow cutters to break the trailer's lock. They are then heard saying there are kids and a female in the trailer.
As officers tell the woman to put up her hands, a baby is seemingly heard crying in the background.
After retrieving the children, officers can then be seen taking a woman into custody.
Police have identified the woman as Brown and said she was arrested on kidnapping charges.
The children were in good health and reunited with their mother, police said.

Lt. Christapher Butler, APD Homicide Unit commander, noted this is not the first time Brown has been accused of kidnapping. Five years ago, Brown faced a case involving similar circumstances in Alabama, he said at a news conference Monday.
A previous Levi's Call, Georgia's Amber Alert, that was issued for Norah and Zola Cooper has since been canceled.
