ATLANTA, GA — The man who was found dead inside a restaurant vent Monday morning in Atlanta has been identified, WSB-TV reported Tuesday.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Terrika Myers, 37, WSB-TV reported.
Officers responded around 9 a.m. Monday to the soul food restaurant, located in the 300 block of Cleveland Avenue Southwest, Atlanta Police said.
When they arrived, officers were told an employee found Myers stuck in the kitchen vent, police said.
WSB-TV reported the vent was located over the establishment's frying station.
Myers was wedged inside the vent, police said. Atlanta Fire Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
There were no signs of foul play in connection with his death, police said. The cause of death was undetermined as of Monday, police said.
