• Man wanted in violent Midtown Atlanta crosswalk robbery attempt (fox5atlanta.com) — Atlanta police are asking Midtown residents and commuters to help identify a man who followed a woman from the Midtown MARTA station to 10th and West Peachtree, then violently attacked and robbed her in a crosswalk Saturday afternoon. Detailed video and clothing descriptions have been released, and Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering up to $5,000 for anonymous tips leading to an arrest.
   

• Second-half surge propels Dream past Liberty in Game 1 (statenews.net) — The Atlanta Dream opened their semifinal series with a 92–82 home win over the New York Liberty, fueled by Jordin Canada's 25 points and a huge second-half surge. With Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard also stepping up, the Dream now look to capitalize on this momentum when they host Game 2 in Atlanta on Wednesday.
