ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves saw its 2026 season come to an unceremonious end Wednesday night with a 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Division Series at Truist Park.
Los Angeles won the best-of-five series 3-1 to advance to the National League Championship Series.
Despite its recent struggles at the plate, Atlanta struck first in the bottom of the first inning when Michael Harris II scored on a wild pitch from Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow.
Los Angeles answered in the second inning, however, capitalizing on a Braves fielding error to tie the game.
The score remained tied until the seventh inning, when Los Angeles outfielder Andy Pages delivered a two-run single off Braves reliever Robert Suarez to give the Dodgers a 3-1 advantage.
Max Muncy then added a solo home run in the ninth inning for the Dodgers to provide the final run of the game.
Harris accounted for two of Atlanta's three hits in Game 4, while Braves starter Tyler Mahle allowed three hits and two runs, one earned, over 6 1/3 innings while striking out four.
Atlanta's offense struggled throughout the series, managing just one hit in 23 at-bats with runners in scoring position.
The Braves finished the regular season with a 94-68 record and captured the National League East title but once again fell short of reaching the NL Championship Series.
Los Angeles will now face the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.
