Early weather forecasts show slightly favorable conditions as All Hallows Eve nears this weekend in Georgia.
Ghosts, witches and other costumed trick-or-treaters on Saturday will take to the Georgia streets collecting candy and Halloween knick-knacks for the annual celebrated holiday.
Though AccuWeather reported pleasant and comfortable weather in Georgia and other parts of the Southeast, the National Weather Service on Monday said the weather could play a trick and pour in a few raindrops.
The NWS' forecast remains uncertain as rainfall could miss Georgia on Halloween and standby until Sunday, according to the weather service.
"If venturing out on Saturday, consider bringing an extra layer in case you get chilly and be sure to wear shoes with decent traction just in case the rain does occur," the NWS' Peachtree City office stated.
As of early Monday afternoon, the NWS predicted a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms for Saturday night and a 50 percent probability for Sunday.
Residents who plan on traveling should be mindful that AccuWeather warned of coastal flooding and showers this week from Florida to the Carolinas.
This could change for the better as Halloween approaches, but AccuWeather stated above-normal tides and showers remain possible for southeastern Florida.
