1 Killed, 2 Injured In DeKalb Shooting
Police discovered three shooting victims in the parking lot outside a Buford Highway restaurant early Sunday morning.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — One man was killed and two people injured in a late-night shooting over the weekend outside a DeKalb County restaurant.
Brookhaven Police Department officers were called at about 2 a.m. Sunday to reports of a fight outside the Acapulco Restaurant and Bar on Buford Highway. Several gunshots were fired and police found three people wounded in parts of the shopping center's parking lot, said police spokesman Maj. Brandon Gurley.
Kevin Carranza Acosta, 21, of Brookhaven, was declared dead at the scene. Javier Lira, 42, and Paula Gaitan Romero, 45, of Chamblee were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, Gurley said.
