2 Charged In Sexual Abuse Of Brookhaven Juvenile
School officials reported the sexual abuse of a juvenile, which police said led to the arrests of two people.
BROOKHAVEN, GA — Two people are facing charges in connection with the sexual abuse of a juvenile, Brookhaven Police said Wednesday.
Details were limited; however, police said school officials reported the abuse on April 20.
Officers arrested Brookhaven residents Olga Patricia Mejia Zavala, 35, and Andres Hernandez, 45, in connection with the case, police said.

The pair face charges of trafficking of persons for labor servitude, rape, aggravated child molestation, first-degree cruelty to children and enticing a child for indecent purposes, police said. Hernandez faces an additional charge of aggravated sodomy, police said.
Zavala and Hernandez were taken to the DeKalb County Jail, where they are being held, police said.
