2 Shot After Argument At Brookhaven Restaurant

BROOKHAVEN, GA — An overnight shooting Sunday at La Casa restaurant along Buford Highway left two people shot and a person detained, Brookhaven police said.

The shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. in La Casa's parking lot and was a result of an altercation that began inside of the eatery, police said.

According to authorities, one person is in critical but stable condition while another person does not seem to have life-threatening injuries. A third person was injured but was not shot, police said.

It is not known how the third person became injured.

The person that is detained is being questioned, police said, adding no charges have been filed.
