Atlanta Film Festival's "Food On Film"

2016 ATLFF's Food on Film - 25th Anniversary presentation: Fried Green Tomatoes

The Atlanta Film Festival’s annual “Food On Film” event is going back to its Georgia roots with a special presentation of FRIED GREEN TOMATOES and after party catered by Sweet Auburn BBQ and The Whistle Stop Café. The Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF) and FRIED GREEN TOMATOES are both celebrating milestone anniversaries this year, 40th and 25th respectively. Georgia-native and NBC’s “30 Rock” star Jack McBrayer will also return to his roots to celebrate with the festival by hosting the special screening of the Atlanta-made film.

This is the fourth year that ATLFF has hosted the foodie favorite “Food On Film” event, which pairs a food-themed movie with a delicious after party. Following the 12:00PM film screening at the Plaza Theatre, the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center will host a good ole southern celebration, complete with fried green tomatoes and barbeque. Admission to the screening is free and tickets to the after party are $20.
