“This event was successfully held earlier this month at Murphey Candler Park, and due to its popularity, the dogs will get to try out the new Briarwood pool this time,” said Parks & Recreation Director Brian Borden.

The event takes place at Briarwood Park, 2235 Briarwood Way, Saturday, Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Due to COVID-19, participants must register for hour-long blocks beforehand, and only two humans per dog are allowed.

Dog owners will only be allowed to wade into the pools up to their knees, and lifeguards will be present.

Cost is $10 per dog per hour. Participants are allowed to sign up for multiple hours, but will need to pay $10 for each time slot per dog. Pet owners will also need to sign a COVID-19 pool waiver upon arrival.
