Brookhaven to Celebrate New Bridges with Ribbon-Cuttings
The City of Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate new pedestrian bridges at both Briarwood Park and Murphey Candler Park.

From the City of Brookhaven: The City of Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate new pedestrian bridges at both Briarwood Park and Murphey Candler Park on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 21 and 22.
Mayor John Ernst and members of the conservancies for each park will be on hand during the festivities, and light refreshments will be served.
The ribbon-cutting for the Briarwood Park bridge will be Monday, Nov. 21, at 4:30 p.m., and the ribbon-cutting for the Murphey Candler bridge will be Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 9 a.m.

The Briarwood bridge is located near the recreation center, and the Murphey Candler bridge is on the east side of the lake near the fishing pier and parking lot.
Briarwood Park is located at 2235 Briarwood Way, and Murphey Candler Park is located at 1551 West Nancy Creek Drive.
